Microsoft dalam sesi terakhir Ignite conference bulan lalu meyuguhkan sedikit teaser terkait desain baru Outlook untuk Mac dan Windows. Perubahan desain ini dalam rangka mensimplifikasi tampilan serta mempermudah pengguna dalam menggunakan aplikasinya. Dalam teaser yang disampaikan, terlihat tampilan Microsoft Outlook menjadi lebih minimalis dan menyerupai tampilan versi iOS-nya. Dikutip dari The Verge:
Microsoft is also focusing a lot of the design changes on Outlook for Mac. The software maker admits “MacBooks are popular amongst key influencers and decision makers,” and that the company “needs to win these users by delivering the best Outlook has to offer.” The overall interface will pick up the same ribbon changes and left navigation panel, but Outlook for Mac will also include improvements to search and calendar.
Belum pasti kapan redesign ini akan diluncurkan untuk pengguna umum, namun menurut kabar aplikasi ini tengah diuji di kalangan internal Microsoft.
