Laporan terbaru dari Nikkei Asia Review menyebutkan bahwa Apple saat ini tengah mengembangkan sendiri chip pengelola daya untuk iPhone di masa mendatang. Hal ini dilakukan sebagai salah satu langkah untuk mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap penyedia komponen pihak ketiga yaitu Dialog Semiconductor.

Another person said Apple was indeed developing its own power management chips for iPhones but the time frame was less certain and could be delayed to 2019.
